At Skyline Aviation Training Academy, flight training is more than just flying airplanes; it’s about building skill, discipline, and opportunity. As Angelo State University’s exclusive flight training partner, we provide a structured path from your first discovery flight through advanced ratings and a professional aviation career.
At Skyline Aviation, all of our training follows FAA regulations under either Part 61 or Part 141. Both paths lead to the exact same pilot certificate, the difference is in how you get there. Our helicopter training is currently Part 61, with Part 141 approval in progress.
Part 61 offers flexibility and allows you to train at your own pace with your instructor. It’s great for students balancing school, work, or military schedules.
Part 141 is a structured program with an FAA-approved syllabus. Because of the streamlined curriculum, fewer total flight hours are required, making it popular for full-time university or career-focused students.
